Rustic HouseWe were fortunate that Kris at Design House was recommended to us. At our first meeting we handed over our scrap book with a full year worth of ideas. The main focus was to create a rustic, lime wash plaster finished house with private outdoor living & feature Macrocarpa verandahs. The floor plan was skillfully put together with great living areas, a dream kitchen & seperate Master & bedroom wings. We were delighted that minimal changes were needed. During construction, Kris provided input as required to ensure the project ran smoothly. Today we have a beautiful, unique, rustic home within a landscaped setting, admired by many. Tree HouseThe steepness of our gully site, the impact of the environmental overlay and building restrictions created challenges for Kris from Design House Architecture. He came up with an innovative design for our home to be constructed on three levels set into the gully. The home was designed with passion and in sympathy with its surroundings and utilised the full benefits of the site. The use of large glazed areas allowed the bush setting inside and created an ambience day or night. We would highly recommend Design House Architecture.
